We're back!
A winter freeze left us without any fruit last year but thanks to our friends at Joie, we got some tasty new grapes to play with from Secrest Mountain Vineyard in Oliver, BC.
With a newborn in the mix, I have to give a shout out to the incredible village that made it possible. From babysitting to topping up wines, I couldn't have done it without Alyssa, Matt, Mom, Dad, Lynda, and Bryan. Thank you all—it truly takes a village...

Hey, I'm Kels.
Else is my creative outlet and passion project. It's a chance for me to dabble with different styles, techniques and grape varietals while appeasing my curiosity (or bringing up further questions to try and answer next year...). You can find me most days at our family's vineyard and winery (Echo Bay Vineyard) where I am an eternal student of holistic farming and minimal intervention winemaking.
